We are students, staff and parents working together to make West Best in all ways!

The Homecoming Parade on Sept. 23 was phenomenal: Kudos to Susie Shire, Parade Chair and her volunteers for putting together a top-notch event. Congratulations to Grand Marshall, Mary Jo Youngmark, West High nurse in her 26th year: a true essential worker for our students.
PTSO awarded $50 prize to each of the following parade entries, selected for having the most spirit: Small Group: Step Club. Large group: West Aurora Marching Band.

Powder Puff Football Concession volunteers helped PTSO raise $275 - thank you Sports Boosters for sharing the wealth!

And Homecoming Dance volunteers checked nearly 250 items for dance-goers, which helped make our students' evening just a little bit nicer.

Become a PTSO member to support our students and staff - and score a handy bag!

When you become a member, you help us support our students and staff in all kinds of ways. Just over the past two years, PTSO has awarded $12,500 in scholarships to graduating seniors. We also organize the homecoming parade and support teachers throughout the year. If you're one of the first 100 people to join PTSO, you'll get a red WAHS bag, durable enough to haul books or groceries.

PTSO is looking for folks who would like to get involved.
We have specific needs for SCRIP oversight and hospitality.
