Quarter 4 Plans

Students who are currently enrolled in the Blended Learning Experience and are in one of the following groups will return to in-person instruction five days a week at West Aurora High School starting Wednesday, April 7th:

  • Students with senior status
     
  • Identified groups within our English learner population
     
  • Self-contained special education students
     
  • All other students (ie. most freshmen through juniors) will continue with their current schedules in the blended form. For example, a sophomore in the A group will continue to attend school Monday, Wednesday, and every other Friday.
     
  • There will be no changes to the current start and end times.

Additionally, West High will continue to build on additional opportunities for in-person intervention/assistance via:

  • Senior Outreach (M-TH 1:30pm - 3:00pm in LMC)
     
  • Afternoon Content Recovery (available to senior students who are attempting to recoup credit, M-TH 3:00pm - 5:00pm)
     
  • Saturday Academic Assistance (9:00am - Noon, available to all students)
     
  • In-person availability of staff during remote check-in time (available to all students)
